ACEC and Fujian Provincial Government Host Southeast Asia Science and Technology Innovation and Cooperation Program

From August 15 to 19, 2024, the Asia China Education and Culture (ACEC) Association, in close partnership with departments of the Fujian Provincial Government, successfully launched the Southeast Asia Science and Technology Innovation and Cooperation Program. This dynamic initiative brought together over 40 academic and scientific experts from leading universities across ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Designed as a high-impact exchange platform, the program offered a unique opportunity for cross-border innovation and collaboration in science, technology, and education.

Participants toured Fujian’s leading enterprises, gaining first-hand insights into emerging technologies, industrial upgrades, and innovation ecosystems. These visits set the stage for meaningful discussions on joint R&D, technology transfer, and academic-industrial collaboration.

✅ University Engagements & Roundtables
Delegates engaged with top Fujian-based universities, exploring potential cooperation in scientific research, academic mobility, and faculty-student exchange programs. Roundtable sessions fostered open dialogue on ASEAN-China innovation policy alignment and long-term educational partnerships.

✅ A Stronger ASEAN-China Education Bridge
The program demonstrated ACEC’s continued role as a key connector between Southeast Asia and China—bridging gaps in communication, technology access, and research collaboration, while empowering institutions to co-create future-ready solutions
