MoU Signing Ceremony between Asian-China Education and Culture Association (ACEC) & Monywa University of Economics (MUE)

On 29th June 2022, a hybrid signing ceremony was held between Asian-China Education and Culture (ACEC) Association and Monywa University of Economics (MUE). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by Mr. Yang Chengcheng, Executive Regional Director of ACEC Association and Prof. Dr. Thida Kyu, Rector of MUE.

The Monywa University of Economics is a well-known economics university in Myanmar. The university offered Myanmar's first MPA and MBA programs, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and diplomas, mostly in commerce, statistics and economics. Cooperation between ACEC Association and MUE focus on academic areas, the certification of international students, admission standards, educational programs, and beneficial educational resources.

Executive Director of ACEC Association, Mr. Yang Chengcheng expressed that ACEC Association maintains cooperative relations with universities and organizations of China and ASEAN, experienced in cross-border and cross-cultural exchanges. Therefore, ACEC Association is able to provide MUE with abundant external educational resources, facilitate the prosperity and development of academic activities in MUE, strengthen cooperation of cross-cultural education between China and ASEAN.

Rector of MUE, Prof. Dr. Thida Kyu expressed that the signing of the MoU will enable the academic development and students of the Monywa University of Economics to obtain more opportunities and educational resources from domestic and international. Therefore, as a university in Myanmar specializing in economics, the cooperation between the Monywa University of Economics and the ACEC Association is imperative, so the international relations office will further discuss cooperation affairs with ACEC Association.

The successful signing of the MoU represents that the Monywa University of Economics has become a reliable and essential partner of the ACEC Association. It also reflects the objective of "promote common development, achieve common prosperity, win-win cooperation" in The Belt and Road Initiative.

2022年6月29日上午，亚洲一带一路文化教育合作促进会（ACEC Association）与缅甸蒙育瓦经济大学（Monywa University of Economics）举办了线上合作备忘录（MoU）签署仪式。在双方人员的见证下，ACEC执行会长杨程成先生与蒙大校长蒂达奎教授（Prof. Dr. Thida Kyu）正式签署合作备忘录。

蒙育瓦经济大学是缅甸著名的经济学科大学，开设了缅甸首个MPA和MBA课程，提供学士、硕士、博士学位及其他文凭与证书的学术课程。以今日合作为契机，双方进行了卓有成效的学术探讨，重点聚焦双方的合作领域，以及国际学生的资格认证、录取标准、教育方案、可受益的教育资源等各方面内容。

ACEC执行会长杨程成先生表示，ACEC与中国及东盟的多所大学、多个组织保持稳定且密切的合作关系，拥有丰富的跨国、跨文化交流经验。因此，ACEC可以通过此次合作，向蒙育瓦经济大学提供外部充裕的教育资源，推动蒙大的学术活动繁荣发展，加强中国和东盟各国之间的跨文化教育合作。

蒙大校长蒂达奎教授表示，在现今这个多元合作发展的时代，此次备忘录的签署，可以使蒙大的学术发展及学生获取更多的国内、国际的发展机遇及学术资源。因此，作为缅甸以经济学科见长的高校，蒙大与ACEC的合作是大势所趋、势在必行，蒙大的国际关系处将与ACEC进一步洽谈具体的合作事宜。

此次备忘录的成功签署，代表蒙育瓦经济大学成为ACEC坚实且重要的合作伙伴之一，同时也是一带一路“促进共同发展、实现共同繁荣、合作共赢”目标的体现。
