Alliance and UiTM representatives co-hosted a live briefing session on applying and studying in Malaysia public universities

On December 13, 2021, the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation invited Dr. Faiz Izwan, Head of Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Hussein Hanibah, Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies Program of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), to co-host a live briefing session on application and study in Malaysia public universities. The purpose of the session was to provide live answers to questions that overseas students may have about the application process, how to graduate on time, and how to deal with various difficulties during their studies in Malaysia.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, supervisors and students cannot conduct face-to-face lectures and face many problems in terms of communication efficiency and timeliness. The Alliance has set up the Alliance Education and Research Center in collaboration with the National University of Singapore, National University of Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Mara to work with the university management team and colleges to solve the problems faced by the cooperative training program and ensure the normal learning progress of students during the pandemic. At the same time, the Alliance and ACEC Association have been working together to hold an international conference that combines online and offline activities. Although students are temporarily unable to visit the conference site in Malaysia to experience the campus culture of Malaysian institutions, the transition to an online approach ensures that students' articles are published in international journals on time and that graduation progress is not affected.

联盟与UiTM代表合办马来西亚公立大学申请和就读直播说明会

2021年12月13日，中国-东盟电子信息人才培养科技创新联盟邀请与玛拉工艺大学国际研究生主任，法伊兹·伊兹万博士，和国际研究生项目负责人，侯赛因·哈尼巴博士，联合直播一场马来西亚公立大学申请和就读说明会。目的是为了可以现场解答海外生来马来西亚读博会遇到的诸如申请过程的问题，如何才能准时毕业，如何处理学习过程中的各类困难。

因疫情影响，导师与学员不能进行面授，在沟通效率与及时性上面临诸多问题，联盟在新加坡国立大学、马来西亚国立大学、玛拉工艺大学大学与大学合作设立联盟教育科研中心，与大学管理团队与学院共同解决合作培养项目面对的问题，在疫情期间保证学员正常学习进度，在2022年联盟合作培养项目继续提供线上课程，以应对疫情反复，与此同时联盟与亚洲一带一路文化教育促进会与通过举办线上线下结合国际会议虽然学员暂时无法亲临马来西亚会议现场亲身体验马来西亚院校的校园文化，然而转型至线上的方式保障学员文章在国际期刊上按时发表，保证毕业进度不受影响。
