China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation Conference

On 15 September 2021, the Asian-China Education & Culture Association (ACEC), together with Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) and the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau, held the conference of the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation  hybrid Conference at the China-ASEAN Expo in Guilin. . Many representatives and academia in the field of education from across ASEAN countries have attended the conference. It was an honour to have Qin Rupei, Dupty Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Binti Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia; H.E. Dr. IM Koch, Secretary, State Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Cambodia; Ms. Pasupha Chinvarasopak, Minister Counsellor (Science and Technology), Royal Thai Embassy; Mr. Virasack SOMPHONG, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Laos People’s Democratic Republic In Nanning,Secretary and Director of the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau; ,China and etc for joining us in this conference.

2021年9月15日，亚洲一带一路文化教育合作促进会(ACEC)与桂林电子科技大学(GUET)和广西大数据发展局在桂林中国-东盟博览会上举行了中国-东盟高校联盟电子信息创新混合大会的会议。来自东盟各国的众多教育领域的代表和学术界人士参加了此次会议。广西壮族自治区副主席秦如培、马来西亚高等教育部长YB Datuk Seri 诺莱妮博士、H.E.柬埔寨国家教育、青年和体育部秘书IM Koch博士、泰国皇家大使馆公使衔参赞（科技）Pasupha Chinvarasopak女士；老挝人民民主共和国驻南宁总领事馆总领事，中国广西大数据发展局秘书兼局长Virasack SOMPHONG先生等参加了此次会议。

On September 10, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 18th China-ASEAN Expo. President Xi Jinping shared that sturdy alliance has been built in the 30 years of establishing dialogue between China and ASEAN countries. China and ASEAN countries has become each other's largest trading partners, and become the most dynamic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned at the last China-ASEAN Expo that China was working with ASEAN countries to build the China-ASEAN Information Port to promote digital connectivity and create a "Digital Silk Road". As the information hub pivot point between China and ASEAN countries, Guangxi is accelerating the construction of an international communication corridor for ASEAN, a regional hub for international big data resources application services, a demonstration highland for innovation and application of new generation information technology for ASEAN countries, and a regional alliance center for China-ASEAN humanities exchanges to strengthen technical alliance and demonstration traction and expand humanities exchanges as a bridge to better serve the all-round alliance between China and ASEAN countries.

9月10日，主席习近平向第十八届中国-东盟博览会发来贺信。习近平主席指出，在中国和东盟国家建立对话的30年中，双方建立了牢固的联盟。中国和东盟国家已经成为彼此最大的贸易伙伴，并成为亚太地区最具活力的合作。总书记习近平在上一届中国-东盟博览会上提到，中国正与东盟国家共同建设中国-东盟信息港，促进数字互联互通，打造 "数字丝绸之路"。作为中国与东盟国家的信息枢纽支点，广西正在加快建设面向东盟的国际通信走廊、国际大数据资源应用服务区域枢纽、面向东盟国家的新一代信息技术创新应用示范高地、中国-东盟人文交流区域联盟中心，以加强技术联盟和示范牵引，扩大人文交流为桥梁，更好地服务中国与东盟国家的全方位联盟。

In order to build a better China-ASEAN Information Harbor’s cultural exchange platform, we organized the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for Electronic Information Innovation (also called as the ‘Alliance’) Conference cum ASEAN University President Forum at the branch venue of China-ASEAN Expo in Guilin, China on 15 September, 2021 concurrently via online and offline method.

为了更好地搭建中国-东盟信息港的文化交流平台，我们于2021年9月15日在中国桂林的中国-东盟博览会分会场通过线上和线下的方式同步举办了中国-东盟电子信息创新大学联盟（又称 "联盟"）会议暨东盟大学校长论坛。

The Alliance aims to further deepen international alliance and exchange work between China and ASEAN countries, promote alliance between China and ASEAN universities and educational institutions, enterprises in the areas of innovative talent training, research platforms, industry-university-research alliances, and results incubation in the field of electronic information. This cross-international alliance will work together to promote digital interconnection and build a better "Digital Silk Road".

该联盟旨在进一步深化中国与东盟国家的国际联盟和交流工作，推动中国与东盟高校和教育机构、企业在电子信息领域的创新人才培养、科研平台、产学研联盟、成果孵化等方面的联盟。这一跨国际联盟将共同推动数字互联互通，建设更好的 "数字丝绸之路"。

Dr. Wahid bin Razzaly, Vice-Chancellor from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Prof. Lawrence Loh Yeow Khoon, Director of Centre for Governance and Sustainability, National University of Singapore (NUS), Prof. Dato Dr Jamil Haji Hamali, Rector of  Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM), Sarawak Branch, and Prof. Dr. Manuel M. Muhi, President of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP).
