The National University of Malaysia Collaborates with China Universities in Postgraduate Students Training

            On Wednesday 21 April 2021, ACEC discussed with the National University of Malaysia (UKM) on a joint international postgraduate training programme.

            UKM will be offering joint Master's and PhD training programmes with China universities. Classes will be conducted virtually due to the impact of the pandemic. Students will be able to join winter and summer courses in both countries after the borders are reopened.

            UKM is also committed to running a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme. During the undergraduate study, students will spend three years in China university and one year at UKM to adapt to the Malaysian culture and teaching system. After graduation, they can continue to complete 1 year of postgraduate study at UKM.

            UKM will also assist students who are weak in English by arranging a 12-week pre-sessional English intensive course, after which students can register for admission by passing the Malaysian University Entrance Test (MUET).

            Dr Tanot Unjah, Deputy Director of UKM Global Team, expressed her hope that the programme would attract more China students to study at UKM, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China universities, enhance students' understanding of China and promote China-Malaysia friendship.UKM was introducing Faculty of Medicine’s research area

马来西亚国立大学与中国大学合作培养研究生

2021年4月21日星期三，本会与马来西亚国立大学商讨国际研究生联合培养项目。

      马来西亚国立大学将与中国大学联合开办硕士、博士合作班。由于受到疫情影响，授课将采用线上教学方式。边境开放后学生也可参加两国寒暑假授课，学习方式灵活。

      此外，马来西亚也致力开展本科硕士连读项目。学生在本科阶段在中国大学学习3年，在马来西亚国立大学就读1年，适应马来西亚的文化、教学系统。毕业后学生可以继续在马来西亚国立大学完成1年研究生学习。

      马来西亚国立大学也将尽力协助英文比较弱的学生，为学生们安排12周的前置英文加强课程，之后通过马来西亚大学入学英语考试（MUET）考试就可以注册入学。

      马来西亚国立大学国际处副处长塔诺德博士表示希望透过本次的合作项目吸引更多中国留学生到该校深造、加强与中国大学的交流与合作、增进学生对中国的了解、促进马中两国人民友谊。马来西亚国立大学介绍该校师资
