Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between ACEC Association and Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET)

ACEC Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET) on 28 April 2021. ACEC was represented by our President, Mr. Yang Chengcheng, while GUET was represented by the Secretary of the Party Committee of GUET, Mrs. Nie Hui. Due to the current pandemic, the signing ceremony was conducted online using the ZOOM platform.

ACEC and GUET will cooperate to establish the China-ASEAN Alliance of Universities for the Cultivation of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents in Electronic Information. ACEC and GUET will jointly set up the Alliance Secretariat in Malaysia, bring in leading China and ASEAN universities, and develop innovative doctoral training programmes and scientific research cooperation projects. The Alliance will be organising the establishment of the China-ASEAN Institute of Electronic Information Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cultivation (ASEAN Institute) in ASEAN countries and China. ASEAN　Institute will be serving as a physical medium for teaching and an exchange platform for scientific research cooperation between the Alliance's universities, and to launch curriculum and technology export to ASEAN countries, while providing resources and support services for the Alliance's China universities to establish overseas institutes. The Alliance is responsible for preparing international internship, training bases and organising overseas internship and training for teachers and students of the Alliance universities and universities in ASEAN countries.

The ASEAN Institute also will be conducting Mandarin courses and cultural exchange programmes with electronic technology as the main topics, promoting advanced courses and foreign language programmes for Alliance’s universities and enrolling international students, bringing in top academic talents from overseas.

本会与桂林电子科技大学签订合作备忘录

本会于2021年4月28日与桂林电子科技大学签订合作备忘录（MOU）。由本会中国区执行会长扬程成与及桂林电子科技大学党委副书记、副校长聂慧代表签订。签署仪式使用ZOOM平台在线上进行。

双方将合作成立中国-东盟电子信息创新创业人才培养高校联盟，由本会和桂林电子科技大学在马来西亚联合成立联盟秘书处、引进中国和东盟领先高校、开展创新博士培养项目和科研合作项目。联盟组织东盟优势高校和联盟中国大学在东盟国家和中国联合成立中国-东盟电子信息创新、创业人才培养学院（东盟学院），作为教学和联盟高校科研合作交流平台物理载体，向东盟国家展开课程和技术输出，同时为联盟中国高校在海外设立海外学院提供资源和支持服务。联盟负责筹建国际实习实训基地，组织联盟大学师生和东盟国家高校进行海外实习实训。
