InnoSTRE as A Platform to Enrich Research Studies

According to the speech of The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, the Chief Minister of Sarawak on the International Conference on Science, Technology, Research and Education (InnoSTRE) Special Edition 2020, Sarawak Government is committed to utilize innovative methods such as technology and big data to overcome the challenges caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic. An infectious disease research centre will be set up in Sarawak in order to deepen the collaboration between Sarawak and all the ASEAN countries and China in different aspects such as scientific research, medicine, economics, trade and education. Practical cooperation and collaboration in all these fields enable the ASEAN countries and China to overcome the challenges and share the development opportunities in the near future.The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, the Chief Minister of Sarawak delivering speech.

“We are very proud that the Sarawak state’s digital readiness was recently highlighted when the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) was awarded the Malaysian Technology Excellence Award by the Singapore Business Review for utilizing digital technology to control the spread of COVID-19 in Sarawak,” said the Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg. He also adds that the InnoSTRE hybrid conference is one of the many platforms to further deliberate and discuss on current issues related to Viral-Immunology and Antiviral Therapy of COVID-19. It proofs that the InnoSTRE hybrid conference is a great platform for academicians, researchers, practitioners and industrial frontliners to enrich their research studies in the dynamic technological environment currently.

      “我们感到非常自豪的是，最近砂拉越州的数据就绪程度得到了凸显。砂拉越灾难管理委员会（SDMC）因利用数字技术控制新冠肺炎在砂拉越州的传播而获得新加坡商业评论颁发马来西亚技术卓越奖，” 拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里说道。他还补充说，InnoSTRE会议是进一步商议和讨论当前新冠病毒免疫学和抗病毒治疗相关问题的众多平台之一。这证明了InnoSTRE会议是一个可以让学术界、研究人员、从业人员和产业前沿人员在当前动态的技术环境中充实自己的研究成果的一个很优秀的平台。
