(September 16) Along the economic of Malaysia and China gradually recovered, ACEC Association has invited the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Sarawak, YB Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah as the Honorary Adviser of ACEC Association to vigorously promote Sarawak and China to relaunch the Malaysia-China Cultural Exchange Program and support the youth of China-Malaysia to conduct various cooperation and exchanges. Even in the difficult situation of the epidemic this year, we promoted around 50 China students to came to Sarawak to study through online courses. At the same time, ACEC, UiTM, UNIMAS, Borneo Biodiversity Center and other institutions have launched a variety of cooperation. On November 25, ACEC and UiTM have invited president of famous China university and top experts to participate in the InnoSTRE 2020 cum “Study Go China” Higher Education ASEAN Tour Exhibition. Participant will have the opportunity to see the elegant demeanor of the world’s top university presidents and scholars. At the same time, the China University Oversea Research Institute will be launched in Sarawak. The Chinese and Malaysian universities will jointly to train local senior talents in the fields of international medicine and commerce, and provide a talent pool for joint research cooperation in epidemic prevention and development of local natural resources.

(9月16日)随着中马经济的逐步复苏,ACEC协会邀请沙捞越旅游、艺术、文化、青年和体育部长拿督哈芝阿都卡林拉赫曼韩沙作为ACEC协会的荣誉顾问,大力推动沙捞越和中国重启马中文化交流项目,支持中马青年开展各种合作与交流。在今年疫情严峻的情况下,我们仍推动了约50名中国学生来沙捞越通过网络课程学习。同时,ACEC、UiTM、UNIMAS、婆罗洲生物多样性中心等机构也开展了多方面的合作。11月25日,ACEC和UiTM邀请了中国知名大学的校长和顶级专家参加InnoSTRE 2020暨 "留学中国 "高等教育东盟巡展。与会者将有机会一睹世界顶级大学校长和学者的风采。同时,中国大学海外研究院也将在沙捞越州启动。中国和马来西亚的大学将共同为当地培养国际医学和商业领域的高级人才,并为防疫和开发当地自然资源的联合研究合作提供人才储备。

Due to the epidemic, local students who studying in China universities are temporarily unable to go to China. In order to ensure the normal study of students, ACEC Association and China universities held an online student interview meeting on the Malaysia Day. The first batch of 14 local students had passed the interview to study abroad in China successfully. The university interview has been successfully completed through online admission, and students had successfully archived all the tuition fees and accommodation scholarships. This year, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Pharmaceutical University, China University of Mining and Technology, Nanjing University of Science and Technology had a total of 61 local students successfully applied for full scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate. 

由于疫情的影响,在中国大学就读的本地学生暂时无法前往中国。为了保证学生的正常学习,ACEC协会和中国大学在马来西亚日举行了学生网上面试会。第一批14名本地学生顺利通过面试,赴中国留学。目前,大学面试已通过网上录取完成,学生已成功归档所有学费和住宿奖学金。今年,清华大学(清华)、中国科学技术大学(中国科大)、浙江大学(浙大)、上海交通大学(交大)、北京航空航天大学(北航)、北京理工大学(北理工)、中国药科大学(药科大)、中国矿业大学(矿大)、南京理工大学(南理工)共有61名本地学生成功申请到本科和研究生全额奖学金。
