ACEC collaborates with Universiti Teknologi Mara to launch cross-cultural programme

In collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), ACEC will launch a cross-cultural programme in mid-August this year, in order to help China students who will be studying in Malaysia or those who have already enrolled in Malaysia university, to better understand and adapt to the Malaysia culture.

The programme will introduce Malaysian culture, teach some simple Malay and analyse the difference in China and Malaysia academic expression. Students will gain a better understanding of the various barriers that arise in verbal and non-verbal communication and their causes. Through learning and mastering the principles and strategies of cross-cultural communication, students will be able to enhance their cross-cultural awareness and communication skills, hence broaden their horizons.

本会与玛拉工艺大学合作开办跨文化课程

本会将与玛拉工艺大学合作，于今年的8月中旬推出跨文化课程，协助即将在疫情后来马读大学或是已经入学的中国学生更深入地了解及适应马来西亚的文化。

本课程通过介绍马来西亚文化、教导简易马来文、学术的差异对比，使学生更好地了解语言沟通和非语言沟通中将出现的各种障碍及其原因。通过学习和掌握跨文化沟通原则与策略，提高学生的跨文化意识和跨文化沟通能力，拓展学生的视野。
